Ogilvy appoints new Hong Kong CEO

Katryna Mojica takes over from Adam O’Conor.

HONG KONG - Ogilvy & Mather has named Katryna Mojica CEO of the agency’s Hong Kong office, effective in March.

Mojica replaces Adam O’Conor, who will fully focus on his role as president of global brand management, announced in January 2016.

Mojica began her career with O&M 20 years ago in the Philippines. She has held leadership roles in Asia-Pacific since 2006, most recently as Indonesia CEO, where O&M was named Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 2016 Creative Agency of the Year.

“The Hong Kong office has always done some of the best work for O&M in Asia,” she said. “There is a palpable sense of energy, and the agency is in a constant state of evolution and innovation. These are exciting times, and I am very much looking forward to working with our clients and our extraordinary team on the ground.”

O&M has yet to announce a replacement for Mojica in Indonesia.

O’Conor is responsible for more than 20 global brands, accounting for more than a third of APAC business for O&M. He will remain based in Hong Kong.
