In this new position, Yavapan is tasked to drive PHD’s positive growth in Thailand, building on its established business foundation. It added more than 10 new clients last year, including HTC Mobile, SC Johnson, Hotels.com and Hershey’s.

Clint Easthorpe, chief executive officer of Omnicom Media Group Thailand, noted that Yavapan’s appointment is to strengthen PHD's operation in the country, as the advertising industry is evolving rapidly and brimming with opportunities.

“With his leadership, PHD Thailand can look forward to a new phase of success and growth and be established as one of the most preferred media agencies in the market,” Easthorpe commented on the appointment.

Yavapan has 15 years' experience in the advertising and communications industry, handling clients such as Beiersdorf, P&G, Exxon Mobil, Danone, Adidas and Tourism Authority of Thailand.

He was most recently the executive business director at Carat Thailand.
