Phibious appoints three to creative team

HO CHI MINH CITY - Phibious Vietnam has made several appointments to its creative team.

It has named Antonio Bonifacio as creative director; Alberto Talegon as associate creative director/ head of art; as well as Chi Minh De Leo as associate creative director/ head of copy.

With more than 10 years of creative and art direction experience, Bonifacio started his career in his native Brazil. He then worked in Atlanta and Boston, before working in Vietnam in 2009 with a multinational agency.

He has done integrated work for brands like VW, Harley Davidson, Porsche, Unilever and Canon. He has also been recognised by The One Show, Andy International Awards, The Show Minneapolis, Addys Minneapolis, The Hatch Show Boston and The South Show Atlanta.

Spaniard Talegon has worked in his native country for worldwide agencies like Ogilvy, BBDO Proximity, and Euro RSCG, with brand experience such as J&B, BMW, Barclays Bank, Vodafone, Levi’s, Nintendo and Peugeot.

De Leo, meanwhile, returned to his native Vietnam in 2005 to join a multinational agency after his education in France. Over the years, he has worked on local and international brands including Nestlé, P&G, Unilever, Toyota, ANZ bank, Carlsberg Beer, Halida Beer, Zorok Beer, Sony, UNICEF, Western Union, Enfa, Vietnam Arilines, Pacific Airlines, Vinamilk, Vfresh, Vianphone, Vietnam Mobile, and THP group.

Phibious has expanded its portfolio this year. In March, it retained its relationship with The Coca-Cola Company in Indochina and Asia-Pacific, as the lead brand agency for core brands which include brand Coke across both Vietnam and Cambodia. Three months later in June, it was named as the lead brand agency for scooter manufacturer Vespa Piaggio Vietnam.
