Publicis appoints new Prodigious APAC CEO

Newly created role with content-production agency also includes Middle East and Africa oversight.

Publicis Groupe today announced that Michael Burgess has joined the network as  CEO of content production agency Prodigious for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Burgess joins from H&O, where he was APAC CEO. He has 26 years of industry experience, more than 15 of which have been spent in the region. He begins at Prodigious on August 13.  

“I am excited to join Publicis Groupe given its incredible commitment to accelerating its Prodigious offering across the region,” said Burgess.

In his new role, Burgess will head Prodigious’ development across its 11 APACMEA markets. The agency specialises in multi-channel content production and strategy.

Burgess will report to Loris Nold, Publicis Groupe CEO for APACMEA, who said he was “thrilled that Michael is joining us to lead the next chapter of our Prodigious expansion”.
