Publicis Beijing appoints Heidi Zhang as strategic planning director
Zhang takes on the main strategic planning role for the agency’s key accounts in Beijing including Nestle, HP and Cadbury, and will report to Wendy Tseng, MD of Publicis Beijing.

Zhang brings with her 14 years of 4As agency experience in both China and Hong Kong. Her last post was as head of the planning department at Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong. Her resume also includes stints at Publicis (Hong Kong), Saatchi & Saatchi (Hong Kong); Foot, Cone & Belding (Megacom) in Beijing, and McCann-Erickson in Guangzhou, where she played a key role in providing strategic insights for clients including Dell, Bank of China (Hong Kong), and P&G, among others.

“Advertising is not talking about advertising. It's about having conversation. It's about engaging consumers in the conversation at the right time and right place, most often beyond traditional media,” Zhang commented.

Zhang's appointment follows the recent appointment of Keat Soh as ECD at the Publics Beijing office earlier this summer.
