Agencies expected to compete for the account early next month include Phoenix Communications, CommOn and Hakuhodo Cheil. The business is currently held by Grape Communications.

Seoul Milk is Korea’s leading milk brand and the oldest and largest producer of dairy products in the market. In addition to regular milk, its portfolio comprises flavoured milk, yoghurt, ice cream, cheese and non-dairy beverages.

The company recently saw sales of its milk cartons increase after becoming the first dairy producer to voluntarily label the production date on its products.

Major competitor brands in Korea include Maeil Dairy.
