The review is thought to be part of a bi-annual review that is statutory for all Government-linked accounts.

Mindef had been working with local shop Mandate Advertising for its advertising needs in Singapore. The incumbent is believed to have held the account for over a decade.

The appointed agency will be contracted for two years with the option to extend with another two and will be charged with the defence force’s brand, corporate and recruitment publicity campaigns.

The scope of work includes media strategy and development as well as through-the-line marketing activities on print, TV, radio, outdoor and online channels.

In April, Mindef awarded Arc Worldwide the contract to revamp its Army internet portal following a multi-agency review.
