These include mobile apps on Skype and Car.com.hk, rich-media mobile ad formats, and audience- and location-targeted display ads.

Anthony Wong, commercial director of Snap Mobile, said adspend on mobile is projected to grow 50 per cent this year, so the rollout of the enhanced mobile solutions is meant to get ready to meet clients' needs.

Advertisers that have signed up to run campaigns with Snap Mobile on the new ad offerings include Fortune Pharamacal, HSBC, Galaxy Macau, Swarovski, Puma, Cathay Pacific Airways, ANZ Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, MTR Corporation, PCCW and eBay Inc.

Galaxy Macau, brokered by media agency Universal McCann, became the first advertiser on Skype Mobile in Hong Kong.
