The new office will be headed by Liam McCance, currently country manager of Vocanic Malaysia. He will be relocating to Bangkok next month to take on the role of country manager of Thailand.

Vocanic already operates in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, but this is the agency’s first foray into Thailand.

As Thai interest in social media continues to rise, there is a growing appetite for social media marketing among brands in the market, McCance said.

“We’re really excited to be part of this shift in media spend and have an office that is dedicated towards servicing our Thai clients,” he said.
