The pitch covers Southeast Asia and Oceania, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

The appointed agency will be tasked with developing an integrated public relations strategy, providing strategic counsel and engaging in traditional and/or social media relations, to create media and consumer awareness for Sony Mobile's key mobile products including smartphones, tablets and accessories across consumer and professional business groups in Singapore.

It will also take on the role of regional liaison for APAC and Oceania, with responsibilities including market coordination, information dissemination, and liaison with the global team.

The nine-month contract also comes with the option of extension, based on the mutual agreement between the agency and Sony. Burson-Marstellar has been with the brand since 2007.

The pitch will take place in Singapore and agencies intending to submit a bid to pitch for this contract should register their interest by 19 April.
