Singapore Press Holdings and local telco StarHub today announced they are renewing their partnership on data, advertising and marketing services.

Having completed their initial two-year collaboration, both parties have extended it for another two years, continuing to combine their resources in advertising sales, content creation and distribution, data analytics, and marketing.

The original partnership, signed in March 2016, saw SPH’s sales team tie up with StarHub’s content and distribution platforms, offering integrated advertising and branding packages to businesses across print, TV, digital, mobile and out-of-home.

The new memorandum of understanding includes furthering the partnership into the healthcare, retail and education sectors. SPH and StarHub will also seek to collaborate on offerings related to the internet of things, smart retail and other technological developments.

Ng Yat Chung, SPH CEO, said the renewed partnership will create new business opportunities for both brands.

Tan Tong Hai, StarHub CEO, said: “This renewal not only underlines our shared commitment to delivering richer content and experiences to our customers, it also takes our partnership to the next level by breaking new ground in non-media collaboration.”
