Spondo appoints Digital Jungle to promote online video platform globally

According to the marketing agency, Digital Jungle will provide overall marketing strategy to highlight Spondo acquiring the non-China broadcast rights, develop the brand within social-media channels to facilitate awareness and 'brand personality', and execute a search marketing programme to drive traffic to landing pages supporting the messaging.

Orbit, the Australia-based digital communications, strategic planning and campaign execution company, will manage the client relationships.

Spondo is a Melbourne-based technology company that provides a proprietary platform for publishers to syndicate and monetise their content across a wide range of websites and devices. The company recently announced that it had secured coverage of golf’s biggest Chinese event, featuring head-to-head match play between Woods and McIlroy.

The one-day event at Lake Jin Sha International Golf Club in Beijing will be streamed live via Spondo’s technology and its distribution partners Golf.com.au and News Digital network. Spondo is powering all broadcast of the event, which can only be seen online outside of China. All News Digital sites as well as www.golf.com.au feature sign-up and Pay-Per-View capabilities.
