Start Asia appoints Sara Earnshaw as digital strategist

HONG KONG - Start Asia has appointed Sara Earnshaw (pictured) as digital strategist. Earnshaw will report to Jonathan Cummings, managing director at Start Creative, and is working closely with Caroline Waite, the agency's brand strategist.

Joining from Digitas London as the project manager in charge of implementing the Nissan dealership digital marketing platform, Earnshaw's experience spans over a variety of sectors from retail and travel to financial services and technology and clients accounts including BMW, Disney, Staples, TK Maxx and Flybe.

Earnshaw will provide creative digital and mobile solutions as a core part of Start’s integrated brand strategy offer across Asia, particularly in China and Australia.

Earnshaw said: “I am absolutely delighted by the opportunity to join Start Creative Asia, for some time, I have been fascinated by the growth of the China market and how the changes in marketing (especially digital marketing) in China will shape the future of marketing in the rest of the world.”

Start Asia is the regional hub of the UK-based brand and digital agency Start Creative. Its global clients include Virgin, Adidas, Bentley, BBC, Barclays, Chow Tai Fook, Modern Green and Dubai World Trade Centre.

Start Creative also hired Michael Dorrian as CD last summer.
