Surekha Ragavan joins CEI Asia

Surekha Ragavan has been appointed Editor of CEI Asia, a leading regional publication with authoritative and independent coverage of the world's fastest growing business events market.

Based in Singapore, Ragavan will spearhead the voice and direction of CEI Asia following its recent integration with the global Campaign network. She will also manage content across both digital and print platforms while working closely with her editors and team in Hong Kong.

“In the era of live communications and experiential events, the MICE industry is the most exciting it’s ever been. As we move past breakout ballrooms and conventional speaker-listener experiences, I’m glad to be riding this wave alongside my team,” said Ragavan.

Ragavan brings with her seven years of experience in the publishing industry with by-lines across the region’s top publications including BBC Asia, South China Morning Post, VICE, ELLE, and Time Out Kuala Lumpur.

She was previously Editor at Travel Wire Asia where she covered news across the travel and MICE industry, as well as led the direction and vision of the website.

Prior to that, she was Food Editor at Time Out Kuala Lumpur where she built the magazine’s sub-section and worked closely with the marketing and sales team to execute commercial projects.
