TBWA radio spot for Ovation Vocal Specialist proves a trained vocalist can 'sing anything'

KUALA LUMPUR - Ovation Vocal Specialist, a Kuala Lumpur singing school, has launched a radio campaign that communicates the power of its training courses by proving that even lines from the phonebook can be entertaining when performed by a skilled singer.

Ovation Vocal Specialist is a new school that offers classes for young adults and retirees, claiming it can teach people to sing like professionals.

"The thought is simple,” said Nicholas Lee, director at Ovation Vocal Specialist. “With the tutelage from our professional vocal specialists, our students can sing anything, including the phonebook.”

For the recording sessions for the campaign, actual Ovation students proved their prowess by singing from the phonebook in several different musical genres, according to Jessica Chok, director at Ovation Vocal Specialist. “It was fun and the best ones were used for our radio commercial campaign,” she added.
