UM retains Carrefour business in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR – Carrefour Malaysia has retained UM as its media agency-of-record, following a competitive pitch involving four other agencies.

UM won the media planning and buying account in 2011, estimated at the time to be worth around S$8 million to S$10 million.

"This win validates our advantage not just in the area of strategy and innovation, but also hard media productivity and value," said Prashant Kumar, president, world markets Asia and CEO, UM Malaysia.
