Yahoo will host 'The wholegrain contest' for Uncle Toby's. This interactive portalseeks to engage and educate consumers on the benefits of wholegrain products through information about wholegrain nutrition, an interactive poll and an online contest on the site. The poll serves to help Uncle Toby's collect insights into the wholegrain consumption habits of residents in Singapore.

The Uncle Toby's 'Wholegrain contest' concept was developed by Mindshare Singapore.

To drive traffic to the 'Wholegrain contest', Uncle Toby's will place display advertising on Yahoo Singapore over the course of the next four weeks. Users can also recommend the site to their friends via Facebook or Twitter.

"Yahoo offers a great contest solution for advertisers who want to get an online competition up and running quickly. Instead of designing a website from scratch and thinking about how they can collect data, companies can now leverage the traffic that Yahoo! has and their infrastructure to generate qualified leads in no time,” explained Tanja Hackford, digital manager for Mindshare Singapore.

Magdalene Tan, group brand manager of Uncle Tobys said, “We don’t have a website for Uncle Toby's in Singapore at the moment so the Yahoo 'contest solution' allows us to showcase our product, run a joint promotion with our partner, Subway, and provides us with a platform to generate interest in our wholegrain products. Most importantly, we can capitalise on the audience traffic that Yahoo Singapore receives to reach our potential customers.”
