Fung (pictured) has confirmed that she resigned from POAD Advertising in July and will take up a senior management role at South China Media. She will be a key member of the senior management team and will be responsible for the overall management of the Group’s corporate and business development, as well as overall sales and marketing strategy and brand development of the Group.

POAD Advertising has no immediate replacement for her MD role, but Carol Chung has recently joined the company as marketing manager.

Fung was promoted from deputy MD to the newly created MD role in May 2011 to meet the needs of POAD's growing out-of-home business.

Fung is a media veteran with more than 16 years in the OOH advertising industry. Her previous role was at JCDecaux Transport, where she managed JCD’s advertising business with The MTR Corporation, The Airport Authority of Hong Kong, Swire Properties, the Macau government and The Airport Authority of Macau.

South China Media Limited offers magazine publishing services and includes magazines such as Marie Claire, HIM, Esquire, Carplus, Jessica's, Capital Weekly and 88. With the exception of 88, which is published and sold in China, the magazines are all published and sold in Hong Kong. South China Media Limited is a former subsidiary of South China Holdings.
