WDA Singapore chooses Comwerks as social AOR

SINGAPORE - The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has appointed Comwerks, a Wunderman company, as its social agency of record.

WDA Singapore chooses Comwerks as social AOR

The appointment, which was made last quarter, came after a competitive pitch called in January to seek agencies to conceptualise, plan and manage the client's integrated social-media strategy.

Comwerks will be responsible for planning and co-creating the content for WDA’s social-media channels, to help drive workforce improvements by developing and managing WDA’s social-media community.

Neeraj Sundarajoo, CEO of Comwerks, said WDA has a unique role to play in the lives of Singaporeans, and reaching out through social channels is the right approach.

WDA launched its social-media platforms in mid-September 2011 to reach out to the workforce via blogs, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, while maintaining other social and mobile platforms for individual initiatives such as Learn SG and Retail Colours.
