Last year, Weber Shandwick also handled the PR account for the conference, which was held in Kuala Lumpur, as well as in 2005, when it was held in Australia.

The 2010 event, Forbes’ tenth annual conference, will be held on 28 and 29 September, hosting 400 worldwide corporate leaders who will discuss the post-crisis economic landscape in line with the theme ‘Full Sail Ahead’.

Hosted by the Australian and New South Wales government bodies, the conference will feature speakers including Steve Forbes (pictured), chairman and CEO of Forbes and editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine; Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, president and CEO of Nokia Corporation; Eizo Kobayashi, chairman of ITOCHU Corporation; and Liang Xinjun, vice chairman and CEO of Fosun International.

At last year’s event, Forbes told Media that his publications will not be erecting paywalls because he believes paid content will not translate into a "major source of revenue".
