Wunderman Thompson has hired Justin Peyton as Asia-Pacific chief strategy and transformation officer, based in Singapore.

Peyton joins from Digitas, where he spent the last six years in Singapore, most recently as chief strategy and transformation officer. At Digitas he worked under the leadership of Annette Male, who joined Wunderman Thompson as APAC CEO in March.

During his time at Digitas Singapore, Peyton helped launched the agency in five markets, and oversaw new business wins including Qantas in Australia, Samsung in Singapore and Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Before moving to Asia, Peyton led DigitasLBi’s financial services practice in London.

He was also named Southeast Asia Strategic/Brand Planner of the Year 2018 at Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Agency of the Year Awards in December.

Male said in the newly created role at Wunderman Thompson, Peyton will help drive the agency’s growth in APAC. “Justin’s proven ability to connect data, tech and creativity and deliver customer-centric and business solutions, makes him the perfect choice in Wunderman Thompson’s quest to inspire growth for ambitious brands,” she said.

In a statement to Campaign, Jane Lin-Baden, APAC managing partner at Publicis Groupe, said: “I would like to thank Justin for his contribution to Digitas over the past 12 years that he’s been with the agency and wish him the very best in his next chapter.”
