Msquare Media Group (MMG), a media and creative solutions company, has appointed Marshall Campbell as director of strategic projects and executive producer. Before joining MMG, Campbell served in senior roles as general manager at MBCS and business director at Emotive. In this new role, he will be responsible for overseeing strategic projects and partnerships, fostering new business opportunities, and guiding the execution of key ventures.

FleishmanHillard Australia has been appointed as the agency of record for the NSW Government’s Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner. The agency will help build the Office’s brand across the state and assist in its remit expansion into regional NSW. 

Medibank has been appointed as the official health partner of the 36 Months, a social change initiative, as part of its commitment to improving mental health in Australia. 36 Months is urging the government to mandate social media citizenship, delaying the age teenagers can sign up to social media platforms from 13 to 16. Medibank and 36 Months will develop a range of health and wellbeing support services to help young Australians and their parents or guardians navigate the mental health space.

Uniplan has elevated Judd Christie as chief executive officer of Greater China, effective October 1. He joined Uniplan's Hong Kong office as executive creative director in 2018. He was promoted to managing director and led the Hong Kong office In 2021. Most recently, Christie connected Uniplan's Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices, playing a vital role in the overall business development of the Greater China region. Prior to Uniplan, he worked at Luminous Experiential MSL and Imagination in Hong Kong. Before moving to Hong Kong, he worked as an art director and designer in Australia.

Nestle has retained Publicis Media as its media agency in Pakistan for another three years. Publicis Media won the Nestle media account in Pakistan back in 2021 from Wavmaker. Brainchild, a media agency under the Z2C Limited portfolio, represents four media brands of the Publicis Groupe in Pakistan: Starcom, MediaVest, Spark, and Publicis Media. 

Traveloka has appointed Jon Chin as global head of brand. Chin was most recently SVP and regional head of seller engagement & marketing, Southeast Asia, Lazada. Prior to that, he served as partner and regional client director APAC (Greater China, Korea and Japan) at Ketchum and director of digital & social media, Southeast Asia, at MSL.

IProspect Australia, a Dentsu company, has promoted group investment director NSW & Victoria Nicola Barnes to head of investment to lead the agency’s investment team. Barnes has been with iProspect for nearly four years, first as group investment director for NSW before adding Victoria to her remit nearly two years ago. Barnes has previously worked for Dentsu sister agency, Carat, as investment director and has also worked in media agencies in London.

Neha Tejuja has joined Deloitte Digital as strategy manager. Before Deloitte, Tejuja was head of performance strategy, APAC of Kinesso. She also led Reprise Digital as head of performance strategy at APAC prior to that. She is a strategist with almost 20 years of experience, worked at Wunderman Thompson, Grey and Publicis from India to Singapore.

Experience Commerce (EC), an integrated digital agency within the Cheil Network, has renewed its annual digital, technology, and media mandate for MRF Tyres for the 12th consecutive year. Headquartered in Chennai, MRF Tyres is India’s largest tyre manufacturer and a prominent player in the global tyre industry. EC’s Mumbai team will continue to manage the account, providing a comprehensive suite of services, including social media management, website maintenance, and extensive media planning and buying.

SeenThis, adaptive streaming specialist, has announced it has opened operations in Hong Kong as part of an expansion into North Asia. Angel Wong joined as commercial director, where she was in charge of running digital campaigns for clients based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. She was most recently commercial director of Mobkoi before joining SeenThis.

AnyMind Group, a BPaaS company for marketing, ecommerce and digital transformation, has announced that Siddharth Kelkar, managing director, performance business, AnyMind Group, and Aditya Aima, managing director, growth markets, AnyMind Group, will also co-lead the company’s India and MENA operations as co-managing director, India and MENA. They will replace Rubeena Singh, previous country manager of India and MENA, who left AnyMind Group in October. Kelkar and Aima joined AnyMind Group through the acquisition of Pokkt, a mobile advertising platform, in 2020.

Sling & Stone, the PR agency purpose-built for challenger brands, has won several new clients in Australia, including cosmetic brand Lush, online marketplace for surplus food Too Good To Go, kids audio brand Yoto, Acon, a HIV and LGBTQ+ health organisation, Rmito (RMIT Online) and 4Pines, a BCorp-certified brewery. Lush has selected Sling & Stone to run its creator marketing and community-building events in Australia, expanding the partnership from New Zealand.

DDB Mudra has appointed Priya Shivakumar as its new creative head for the South region in India. Shivakumar will collaborate closely with Rahul Mathew, chief creative officer, and share leadership with Menaka Menon, president of growth and strategy. Before Joining DDB Mudra, she was CCO, South at Wunderman Thompson (JWT).

Chatime, a Taiwanese global franchise teahouse chain, has appointed Jeff Cheng as its global chief growth and marketing officer, reporting to the global CEO of Chatime, Carlos Antonius. Before joining Chatime, Cheng was general manager of Southeast Asia (ex Thailand, Malaysia) and Asia export markets at JDE Peet's and marketing director and cafe director of Häagen Dazs Asia, Middle East, Africa (Ice Cream) at General Mills. 

Clemenger BBDO has announced four promotions to optimise its AI capabilities.

  • Long-time Clemenger creative Ant Phillips has been promoted from group creative director to executive creative director. Phillips has spent more than 20 years at the agency, beginning his career as an art director in 2004.
  • Riana McKenzie and Zoe Perrin have been promoted to senior creative roles. The duo also known as RiZo, teamed up when they joined the agency in 2022.
  • Ben Bryan has been elevated from junior to mid-weight art director. Bryan joined in January 2021 as a motion designer before moving into the creative department.   

Moon Rabbit Singapore, an integrated advertising agency, has appointed Bettina Feng as head of integrated production. Prior to this, Feng was head of integrated content production and director of integrated services at Iris Singapore. She has over two decades of experience in local, regional and global production for agencies such as BBH, M&C Saatchi, JWT, DDB Group and Iris Singapore. 

82.5 Communications has won the creative mandate from De Beers Group in India. This collaboration comes at a pivotal time as India solidifies its position as the world’s second-largest market for natural diamond jewellery. 82.5 Communications is a specialist agency, part of the Ogilvy network, and was launched as an India-specific creative agency.

ABND has been awarded the communication design mandate for Lloyds Metals and Energy, a key player in India’s metals and mining sector. This partnership aims to enhance Lloyds' brand identity and communication efforts as the company strengthens its focus on maximising value for its stakeholders and expanding its market presence.

Wavemaker Australia has unveiled three new moves to boost its strategic expertise in Melbourne.

  • Wavemaker Adelaide strategist Stephen Drawbridge has joined the Melbourne office as strategy partner. He will work with numerous clients in addition to Mondelez. Prior to this, he spent more than five years at the Adelaide office.
  • Kristy Kinzett, head of digital, Melbourne, has been promoted to managing partner. Kinzett will bolster integrated digital and performance thinking on all of the agency’s campaigns.
  • Steve Thornton has been elevated from Mondelez’s planning director to head of planning, Melbourne. He was previously working at Carat and iProspect based in the UK, and moved to Wavemaker in Australia in 2019.

The Australian Traffic Network (ATN) has appointed Karen Holmes as national sales director and Wade James as group sales director, in Victoria and South Australia respectively. ATN, part of the ASX-listed Global Traffic Network Group, is one of Australia’s largest broadcast media advertising platforms.  Ahead of an imminent rebrand, ATN has appointed Holmes and James to work with media agency and direct advertising partners. Holmes joins ATN from Are Media where she was national sales director. Reporting to Holmes, James joins ATN from oOh!media, where he was national head of sales, agency.  

Ayushakti hands over its PR and communications mandate to Treize Communications. As part of the mandate, Treize Communications will be handling the offline and online PR for Ayushakti and their co-founder Smita Naram. The agency will be responsible for getting her featured in a timely and strategic manner in new-age media outlets.  Ayushakti is an Ayurveda company founded by Naram in 1987. 

Marketing trio Duncan Allan, Cameron Roberts and Tom O’Connor have joined forces to launch independent media agency, Fourteen10. Fourteen10 will specifically target growth-oriented challenger brands. The agency’s foundation clients include investment platform Stake; travel insurance company Fast Cover; men’s healthcare brand Mosh; fintech accelerator Archie; and salary advance company Wagetap. Allan worked at Google and MediaCom. Roberts was head of strategy at Ryvalmedia and also worked at UM and MediaCom.
