Spikes Asia’s See It Be It finalists revealed

Ten inspiring women in creative positions have been chosen to take part in the acceleration programme for future leaders.

The See It Be It (SIBI) programme—a first for this year’s Spikes Asia—has announced the names of the 10 finalists selected to take part in the career acceleration programme. The programme is an initiative first launched at Spikes’ sister festival, Cannes Lions, to help the next generation of women in creative positions develop and achieve their full potential, against the headwind of diversity challenges.

The SIBI cohort will take part in bespoke speaker sessions, executive training, mentoring, networking sessions and leadership challenges at the SIBI Hive during Spikes Asia from 25-27 September.

SIBI ambassador Valerie Madon, former chief creative officer at Havas, and a member of International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), will support and mentor the group. She will be joined by other SIBI leads including Knox Balbastro, staff content strategist at Alibaba Group; and Lizi Hamer, regional creative director at Octagon.

“From the quality of submissions, it is heartening to see that many weren't just looking to hone their own skills but genuinely want to know how they can help other women in their organisation and community achieve more,” said Madon.
