Pedigree throws dog into Clinton-Trump fray

From the US: Will supporters of one candidate help a supporter of the opposing candidate help a lost dog?

Pedigree's long-running glorification of dogs, with BBDO, really gets Ad Nut's goat, as longtime readers are no doubt aware, because dogs are murderous beasts who are always waiting for an opportunity to rend an innocent woodland creature into bloody shreds. Yet these canines have somehow managed to convince you two-legged saps that they are sweet, noble, loyal creatures. Whatever!

Anyway, Pedigree sent one of these photogenic death machines into a Trump rally with a woman wearing a Clinton T-shirt—and vice versa—and filmed the results. Naturally, the bitter political enemies put aside their differences and found common ground and yadda yadda yadda.

Ad Nut thanks the ad nuts at Campaign US, who covered this work first and have some more details including credits.
