Spikes Asia 2012: Video roundup of winning work

ASIA-PACIFIC - Here's a look at some of the winning work honored by the juries at Spikes Asia 2012, which wrapped up Tuesday night in Singapore.

The 2012 Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity received 4851 entries, and the judges awarded 13 Grand Prix, 68 Gold, 136 Silver and 177 Bronze awards.

The following is a completely arbitrary list, in no particular order, of 11 of the winning works. Because 'This one goes to 11'. We make no claim of fairness or comprehensiveness. We're simply focusing on things that haven't been featured before by Campaign Asia-Pacific, got a big reaction when shown at the awards ceremony Tuesday night or otherwise caught our attention.

Case in point, the TVC featured above won a Spike in the Creative Effectiveness category, behind the rightfully famous "Break Up" campaign by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for NAB, which won the Grand Prix in that category. But the spot, for a brand of household adhesive (of all things), got one of the biggest laughs of the night. And it's Friday, so relax and enjoy yourself for a while.

Because we're only featuring videos here (TVCs or case-study videos), we strongly urge you to go and browse the gallery of all the winners on the Spikes Asia website to see some of the amazing work in all of the categories.
