Video for Invictus Games captures indomitable spirit

Former and current military personnel intone a poem about being 'unconquerable', in advance of the sporting competition taking place in Sydney this fall.

Former and current military service members recite a stirring 1875 poem by William Ernest Henley in a new film promoting the Invictus Games 2018, a sporting competition taking place later this year in Sydney. It's a great mashup, and Ad Nut felt like saluting after viewing it.

Produced by content and creative agency Edge with 2 Feet Films, the film marks 100 days before the games begin on 20 October.

In addition to a number of people slated to compete in the games, the film features an appearance by the patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, HRH The Duke of Sussex, better known as Prince Harry. The campaign also includes short-form videos, produced by Salty Dingo, telling the stories of the people in the film.

The games will see 500 competitors from 18 nations competing in 11 medal sports.
