Livingston will helm Initiative's offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The date on which he will assume his new role however, has yet to be confirmed.

“The criteria for selecting the CEO of Initiative was to identify the best candidate in a new class of media agency management and someone who would enable us to realize the amazing talent and potential within Initiative Australia,” Mediabrands Australia executive chairman Henry Tajer.

In the five years Livingston has been in his current role with Mediacom, he has overseen the agency’s planning and account service functions and also played a significant role in most of its business growth

Prior to Mediacom, Livingston was national negotiations director and a member of the board at ZenithOptimedia Sydney where he oversaw media design, negotiation and implementation across the agency’s client list.
