Bates 141 Delhi appoints Vaasu Gavarasana as executive VP

DELHI - Bates 141 Delhi has appointed 20-year advertising veteran Vaasu Gavarasana (pictured) as executive VP, replacing Jayanto Banerjee.

Gavarasana will join the agency on 30 November and will be responsible for overseeing work on the agency’s growing portfolio of brands in Delhi and other special projects.

Gavarasana has worked at McCann Erickson, Lintas, TBWA in India, Paris and Singapore, Y&R Singapore and Ogilvy Direct Bangalore. He has worked on brands including Unilever, Nestle, MasterCard and Lufthansa.

Sandeep Pathak, CEO, Bates141, said: “His strong advertising and marketing acumen and experience of managing brands across diverse cultures and languages coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit will definitely catapult Bates141 to new heights within the Delhi market.”

In June, real estate and trading enterprise Global Group handed a creative brief to Bates141 in India for its Global Schools of Management Studies initiative, following a pitch.
