Jason Hodges, a highly awarded writer, has been appointed creative director and head of copy. He began his career at BBDO London, and has since worked at top agencies in Australia, India, the Middle East and, for the past decade, Singapore.

Audrey Lean joins the agency as a copywriter from Saatchi & Saatchi in Malaysia, where she has also worked with JWT and Arc. Educated at RMIT & Monash University Melbourne, Lean has won several international awards and contributed to many high-profile campaigns.

Francois Claverie has been hired directly from Europe for his broad design background and refreshing approach to art direction. A graduate of École Intuit Lab, he was previously with Publicis Conseil and TBWA G1 in Paris, as well as Rethink and Uncle (Grey) in Copenhagen.

Executive creative director Jonathan Teo said, “We are delighted to welcome such an experienced creative and dedicated writer as Jason back to BBDO Proximity. With rising stars Audrey and Francois also on board – and more announcements to come – we are building an exciting new creative division here in Singapore.”

The new hires will work on accounts such as Aviva, HP, Mercedes-Benz, Guinness, Johnson & Johnson, Fonterra, HP and AsiaRooms.com, the agency’s newest client.
