BBH Asia Pacific appoints business director

SINGAPORE – BBH Asia Pacific has appointed Bass Abdel-Rahman as its business director, based in Singapore.

Bass moves from OgilvyOne in London, and previously worked for TBWA/Media Arts Lab. Over the course of his career he has worked on brands including British Airways, Apple and Sony Playstation.

Most recently he worked on the development of British Airways mobile boarding app and the cross-channel activation of their sponsorship of London 2012 Olympic games.

Other notable projects include the European launches of the PSP and PS3 for Sony, the launch of the original iPhone and MacBook Air in Europe, and multiple generations of the iPod globally.

Frances Great, managing director, BBH Asia Pacific, said Abdel-Rahman brings strategic, creative and digital skills to the agency.

“His expertise lies in using the most effective channels to develop innovative solutions to business challenges,” she said.
