Billboard Kwok appointed CMO at Chinese e-commerce company DangDang.com

BEIJING - Billboard Kwok, ex MD of Euro RSCG 4D China, has re-surfaced as CMO for Chinese B2C e-commerce company DangDang.com.

In his new post, Kwok (pictured) will lead the company's marketing, PR, search engine marketing and brand building, as well as drive traffic and enhance the customer base for the site.

He will report to co-presidents Li Guo Qing and Peggy Yu.

DangDang.com was established almost 11 years ago as a Chinese version of Amazon.com. It has since grown from solely focusing on books into a more comprehensive online store.

DangDang's main competitor is China is Joyo.com, owned by Amazon.

Kwok has 17 years' experience in the integrated marketing industry in China in various 4A agencies, including team leader for MNC accounts such as IBM, Motorola, and Lenovo.

Most recently, he has focused on digital marketing disciplines while working for Euro and iCoupon.
