Burson-Marsteller Hong Kong wins Megaman's Frankfurt trade show's PR assignment

HONG KONG - Megaman, leading German energy saving lamp brand, has chosen Burson-Marsteller Hong Kong (BMHK) to be its PR partner to support their participation in Light + Building 2010, Frankfurt to be held on 11-16 April 2010.

BMHK won the account after a pitching process in Hong Kong last February against two to three undisclosed international PR agencies and boutique agencies from Europe.

Megaman has invited renowned Hong Kong lighting designer Tino Kwan and interior designer Kinney Chan to design the lighting solutions and booth and BMHK will work out the publicity for this, the scope of this PR assignment includes inviting key media from Europe and Asia to cover the trade show, organising lighting design workshops by Tino Kwan for practicing lighting designers, as well as the launch of Megaman’s new energy saving LED product solutions.

Betty Ng, director brand marketing, BMHK said: “This is our first PR project for an architectural trade show, we are very delighted to be appointed for Megaman with our strength in strategic PR thinking, strong international media relations and network.”

Megaman is a German brand and is the leader in eco-friendly and energy saving lighting solutions with its headquarter in Hong Kong, the client has previously worked with various PR agencies in different markets in Europe on project basis.

Light + Building 2010 Frankfurt is the world's leading trade fair for architecture and technology. Manufacturers from over 50 countries attend the event.
