The educational programme will be a permanent addition to the festival’s programme. Fifteen students selected from across Asia will gain full access to the seminars, workshops and evening events, while receiving personal tutorial sessions on the industry. Cheil Worldwide China’s chief operating officer and ECD Jason Zhao and Noor Azhar Mohamed, lecturer in creative media design at Singapore Polytechnic, will lead the academy.

Nack Hoi Kim (pictured), CEO of Cheil Worldwide, said that Spikes Academy aimed to “provide Asian students with an opportunity to expand their horizons and to learn from top industry leaders and show our commitment to fostering talent in the region.
