Designer Mok and copywriter Law will join the 60-person Draftfcb team at the end of April and early May, respectively. They will report to Iris Lo, managing director and executive creative director for Hong Kong.

Both are 4A creative veterans who have worked for Ogilvy & Mather, JWT, TBWA, and most recently as creative directors at McCann. They have worked on accounts including KFC, HSBC, Adidas, Levi’s and Unilever.

The team’s creative reputation is backed by award wins at local and international festivals including D&AD, Spikes, Clio’s, AdFest, The One Show and New York Festivals.

The two also worked together when they were at Bates and M&C Saatchi. Lo told Campaign Asia-Pacific that the two impressed her with their extensive experience in creating effective and award-winning integrated campaigns.

Lo said Mok and Law have not been assigned particular accounts yet, as she is rearranging the account structure. She added that the new appointment follows three new account wins at the end of last year and in the first quarter of this year, including a Hong Kong Housing Society’s property project in Shau Kei Wan; a cultural and lifestyle project in West Kowloon by Sun Hung Kai, Wheelock Properties and MTR; and a third account win, which is under contract negotiation.
