Currently the company's media spend is estimated to be about US$ 2 million.

A veteran in the Vietnam market, UPI has plans to expand its operations extensively. The pharmaceutical company was looking for an agency that can help it with business and communications planning to enhance ROI on its media investments.

A press statement from ZenithOptimedia stated that Equinox was "able to demonstrate the skill set, people and negotiations necessary to maximize ROI for UPI in Vietnam" to win the closely fought pitch process that involved multiple rounds.

Roopam Garg, managing director of Equinox, said: “Clients are becoming more demanding in Vietnam and we have been able to offer unparalleled service and tools. Testimony to this is US$ 15 million plus in incremental business since the start of 2010 from local and multinational clients in Vietnam”.
