Initiative China shuffles senior ranks as Ng departs CEO role

SHANGHAI - Judy Wang (pictured) has joined Initiative from Mediacom as general manager, while Angela Ng will be leaving her position as chief executive officer of Initiative as of 25 July.

Based in Shanghai, Wang will be responsible for leading the agency's roster of clients, including Patek Philip, Revlon, Ariston, Starwood, Bentley, Boeing, ITT and Strip & Browhaus.

Initiative has also confirmed that Ng will be leaving her position as CEO as of 25 July. She will not be replaced. Wang will work toward expanding the agency’s business in the future. She will report directly to Marc Bresseel, president G14, Initiative.

Prior to Initative, Wang was Mediacom Shanghai's general manager of client servicing and planning director at Mindshare Shanghai. On the advertising agency side, Wang has also worked at Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai and McCann Erickson Guangming Shanghai.
