Mindshare, Aegis Media, OMD and ZenithOptimedia vie for Xian-Janssen Pharmaceutical media planning account in China

BEIJING - Johnson & Johnson owned Xian-Janssen Pharmaceutical Company has called a media planning review in China.

Mindshare, Aegis Media, OMD and ZenithOptimedia are understood to be involved in the pitch.

According to agency sources, the account is a “good size and meaningful” and is worth an estimated US$15 million.

OMD holds the media buying account for Johnson & Johnson. The agency won the business in 2007, which also includes Shanghai Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.

Motilium and Daktarin are among Xian-Janssen Pharmaceutical's main products in China.
