Gordon, previously GM, has more than 15 years' industry experience. He began his media career in London in 1995 and joined Mindshare Shanghai in 2008, working on leading key international accounts including Nike, Volvo, Diageo and HSBC. He will be based in Shanghai.

Yi’s new role will oversee all areas of delivery for the agency's Yili business in China. She will continue to be based out of Beijing. Prior to her promotion she also held a GM position.

“Developing good talent is key to Mindshare China. I am pleased to activate these well-deserved promotions,” Melvyn Goh, president of Mindshare China commented on their promotions.

“Gordon is an international talent and has done a stellar job managing multiple key accounts in China - a dynamic but challenging market. Sarah has done an outstanding job managing the Yili business. I have no doubt that both Gordon and Sarah will shine in their new roles,” he praised.

Gordon said, “Three years ago, I took the leap of faith, moved from London to Shanghai and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been a very challenging yet rewarding journey.”

“I am very pleased with the news and would like to thank the management as well as my team members for this. I’d been with Mindshare for the last two years and it has been an incredible
experience. I look forward to even more exciting times ahead,” added Yi.
