Yeo takes over from Yvonne Koh, who has served as managing director since 2008.

Koh has relocated to the United States and will take on an undisclosed senior role with MSL Group North America, starting in January.

Glenn Osaki, president, MSL Group Asia, said Singapore will continue to be one of its highest priority markets in Asia for development.

“We will continue to invest in its expansion and increase its role in our presence in Southeast Asia,” he said.

Yeo brings with him more than 20 years of strategic communications experience, having held senior roles at international agencies and in-house communications divisions at leading multinational companies.

He has also managed his own consultancy focused on corporate strategy, crisis and issues management and training.

Most recently, he led the government and public sector team at an international communications agency in Singapore and, earlier in his career, he also spent time living and working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
