Nojorono Tobacco International hands Minak Djinggo creative account to JWT in Indonesia

JAKARTA - Local cigarette manufacturer, Nojorono Tobacco International (NTI), has awarded the creative account for its Minak Djinggo brand of cigarettes to JWT in Indonesia following a three-way pitch.

Nojorono Tobacco International hands Minak Djinggo creative account to JWT in Indonesia
In January, NTI shortlisted JWT, Publicis and incumbent local shop Diptra for the account.

JWT is expected to help rejuvenate the Djinggo brand of “kretek” cigarettes and is set to launch campaigns across TV and outdoor channels.

The brand’s marketing activities has stalled over the last few years and NTI is thought to be keen to drive share and growth for Djinggo again.

The WPP firm currently also handles creative duties for the NTI’s flagship brand, Clas Mild, the second-largest mild cigarette brand in the country.
