Publicis Singapore bolsters leadership team with two new hires

SINGAPORE - Publics Modem, the digital arm of Publicis, has appointed Valerie Cheng (pictured) to a newly created ECD role and Earl Allan as GM.

Publicis Singapore bolsters leadership team with two new hires
Both will report to Sam Cassels, CEO of Publicis Singapore, who joined from a parallel role at Saatchi & Saatchi Japan last summer.

Cheng who left Arc as CD last month after over five years, came on board today bringing with her over 14 years of experience. She has worked across Singapore, regional and global portfolios, which has evolved from specialising in digital to include CRM and integrated creative solutions. Cheng is also a member of the Creative Advisory Panel for the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore (4AS).

Meanwhile Allan, a lawyer by profession, will depart Earth9.com as a shareholder to join Publicis Modem as GM on May 10, and will further build the team and support existing key Publicis and Publicis Modem clients in Singapore include Citibank, BMW, Hewlett Packard, Proctor & Gamble, LG, Heineken, and among others.

“These appointments are in line with the agency’s focus to provide a fully integrated core offering across both the Publicis and Modem portfolio of clients,” said Cassels. "The Singapore agency has consciously flattened its structure and removed legacy entities that might otherwise complicate work flows or agendas.”
