Shortlists revealed for Campaign Global Agency of the Year Awards

APAC is represented by agencies including Special, Atomic 212⁰, and Leo Burnett Taiwan.

This year, Campaign Global Agency of the Year saw entries from 117 companies and 27 countries.

Several agencies from APAC have been shortlisted across multiple categories at Campaign’s Global Agency of the Year Awards.

These include New Zealand-founded Special which has received seven nominations across Australia and New Zealand, including for creative agency, independent agency, and best network: Asia Pacific. Droga5 ANZ is also in the running for best network Asia Pacific.

Australia’s Atomic 212º has been nominated across multiple categories including media agency and agency growth leader. The New Zealand-based Motion Sickness has earned five shortlists, with work spanning creative leader, independent agency, and head of agency. 

Leo Burnett Taiwan has secured nominations across categories including creative agency and integrated marketing agency. iProspect Taiwan and Starcom Taiwan are among the other Taiwan-based agencies to be nominated. 

TBWA\SMP from the Philippines is up for three awards including integrated marketing agency. India-based White Rivers Media has two nominations including independent digital media agency. Other agencies from the region with nominations include Talented from India, IdeasXMachina Hakuhodo from the Philippines, and Ogilvy PR Australia. 

Oliver, VCCP, MG OMD, Pablo, and Rapp are among the shops leading the pack in the UK, with Oliver landing five nominations including customer engagement agency and social media agency. VCCP also scored six shortlists, including creative agency and independent agency. MG OMD, meanwhile, is in the running for media agency. Pablo secured three nods, including creative agency of the year and independent agency.

Canada’s Zulu Alpha Kilo, a previous winner, is also a top contender with three nominations, including brand experience agency

Winners will be revealed at a ceremony at London’s Carlton Tower Jumeirah on June 12.
