Unruly launches SEA World Cup ad marketplace

Unruly has created a World Cup sport publisher marketplace for video ad inventory, ahead of the global FIFA football tournament in Russia.

The video ad tech company has partnered with five major sports publishers - BallBall, FOX Sports, Goal.com, FourFourTwo and MSN Sports – to launch the UnrulyX Premium World Cup Sport Marketplace, where advertisers can buy desktop and mobile outstream video inventory across Southeast Asia.

Unruly said it guarantees ad placement in high-quality football and sports editorial environments covering the World Cup, and said MOAT will independently verify quality. Users will also be able to access Unruly’s emotional targeting tool UnrulyEQ to maximise the impact of ads delivered during one of the world’s biggest global events.

Phil Townend, Unruly APAC CCO, said the new marketplace will “allow our advertising partners to be able to capitalise on the passion of soccer-fanatics across the region”.
