Paloma Ho

Marketing and communications director, Taiwan
Omnicom Media Group
Taipei

Starting her journey at Omnicom Media Group (OMG) in 2018 in a secretarial position, Paloma Ho quickly climbed the ranks, earning her place as marketing and communications director. Since then, she’s played a significant role in securing the agency's first and only Cannes Lion Award in Taiwan, and in recognition of her expertise, was invited to speak at the Cannes Creativity Week in 2019 and 2020.

Ho has been a key influence in securing new business pitches and has actively contributed to billings growth for OMD and PHD Taiwan over the last few years. Her ability to foster a collaboration-oriented culture that encourages innovation has enabled her team to achieve goals above and beyond their remit, reaching impressive new business growth and billings growth in new business year-on-year.

In 2021, Ho took charge of OMG's Talent Experience and Employee Engagement initiatives, with her strategic approach to brand management, employee engagement, and social responsibility elevating the agency's reputation and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.

An annual employee survey conducted by OMG revealed a substantial surge in employee engagement from 2021 to 2023, while staff retention surpassed the industry-standard benchmark.

Beyond her job responsibilities, Ho actively shapes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within OMG Taiwan. Leading a task force, she’s identified key DE&I projects, introduced gender-neutral restrooms, and encouraged hiring talent from diverse backgrounds—all alongside providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ team members to share their perspectives and experiences.

A true market leader, beyond OMG walls, her commitment to sustainability is often showcased through her spearheading of ESG initiatives, focusing on net-zero actions and anti-food waste campaigns. All these efforts combined make Ho a valid and worthy winner on this year’s list for Women to Watch Greater China.
