This ad discusses soft stools, but it's not from Ikea

'Stefan' is an expert on stools both soft and hard in this campaign for Aspen Pharmacare's Coloxyl, by Ogilvy CommonHealth.

We can probably thank Poo-Pourri's famously frank toilet humour for opening the door to funny ads about excretion. And why not approach a topic that you humans apparently find embarrassing using a generous load of humour? It certainly works in this new Australian spot for Coloxyl, by Ogilvy CommonHealth, which pretends to be talking about furniture instead of constipation.

The campaign includes radio, online content, digital ads and POS materials. Happily, the agency says we'll see 'Stefan' in future executions.

By the way, this is one of two ads Ad Nut has covered today that are both from Ogilvy in Australia and both riff on a certain Swedish furniture maker (see "This ad is about frustrating instructions, but it's not from Ikea").
