Bayer Australia’s Advocate are making parasites run from tough cats and dogs

Bayer Australia is promoting its Advocate, an all-in-one parasite protection for pets, with the help of a few tough animals.

Grey Healthcare Group Australia and JayGrey Sydney takes the audience into the minds of cats and dogs. They all think they have a Robert de Niro or Arnold Schwarzenegger in them but in reality they are not as tough as they think when it comes to parasites.

Besides the pet owners, the campaign is aiming to attract veterinarians to encourage sales through professional referrals. Vets are a big driver for the Advocate brand, and Grey has also developed a series of educational support materials for placement at animal clinics.

Bayer has also partnered with television Channel 9 to sponsor a ‘Talk to the animals' program. Animal lovers can share their photos and videos of their pets on the ‘Four legged stars' campaign website to win pet hampers and get a chance to be on TV.
