CC Tang rejoins Euro RSCG Hong Kong

HONG KONG - CC Tang (pictured) will relocate back to Hong Kong as chairman of Euro RSCG Hong Kong and chief creative officer, Greater China, with immediate effect.

CC Tang rejoins Euro RSCG Hong Kong
Tang only joined Euro RSCG's Shanghai office one year ago, and wore the dual hats of chief creative officer and co-chairman of North Asia.

The latest move comes as Hong Kong MD Dennis Wong, who came out of retirement to bolster Euro's operations in the SAR, prepares to leave the agency later this year to spend more time with his family.

As chairman, Tang will work closely with the Hong Kong management teams and client service director Barbara Yeh to drive growth for the expanding office, leveraging his wealth of experience across both business and creative teams. Tang will report directly to Mason Lin, CEO, Euro RSCG Greater China.

“CC’s return to Hong Kong is a natural solution for us to provide continued support and investment in that office, which has been steadily growing this year with two major wins in Pizza Hut and Sony Vaio,” said Lin.

“At the same time, there are few creatives that have his history of award winning work and ability to teach up-and-coming talent - a skill he honed as an assistant professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University - and this move helps us best apply this unique combination,” he added.

A seasoned agency veteran in Greater China for nearly 30 years, Tang has held senior executive posts at agencies including DDB and Ogilvy & Mather. Over the course of his career, Tang has won numerous awards at events such as D&AD, London International Awards and NY Festivals. He has also judged prestigious shows including Cannes. Last year, he was recognised for his contribution to the industry at the NY Festival in Shanghai.
