Benelisha returns to Waggener Edstrom where he worked at the agency's Seattle office from 2006 to 2010, then relocated to Singapore the next year to work as an in-house agency resource alongside the Microsoft Asia-Pacific communications team.

In his new role, key clients that Benelisha will be working with include Microsoft and BMC Software.

His most recent position was with Ogilvy PR Worldwide in Singapore, where he served as a director in the technology practice and as a senior consultant for clients such as Intel, IBM, Yahoo and SingTel, overseeing a mix of regional PR and social media programmes.

Prior to his first stint at Waggener Edstrom, he worked with Itron, a technology provider to the utility industry, beginning in corporate communications and later taking on a product management role during which he oversaw the company‘s suite of international software products.

“We have seen incredible success the past five years in our efforts to diversify our business, serving various sectors such as consumer, lifestyle, healthcare and automotive. Technology remains a major part of our business and aligns to our vision of being communicators for innovation that is happening in our world every day. Dan’s appointment is about continuing our commitment to the practice and building on the foundation we’ve established in Asia-Pacific,” said David Ko, Waggener Edstrom’s executive vice president for Asia-Pacific.
