Euro RSCG Bangkok appoints ECD

BANGKOK - Euro RSCG Bangkok has appointed Asawin 'Bear' Phanichwatana (pictured left) as executive creative director, continuing the agency's restructure in the Thai market.

Euro RSCG Bangkok appoints ECD
Euro RSCG - which was rebranded as Euro RSCG Bangkok from Euro RSCG Flagship last month - has charged Phanichwatana with leading the agency’s creative business and strengthening its position in Thailand.

Phanichwatana joins from DDB Hong Kong, where he was creative director. He has also worked at Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Publicis, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi in both Hong Kong and Bangkok, overseeing clients such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Mercedes-Benz, McDonald’s, Unif Green Tea and Western Union.

Separately, Euro RSCG has appointed BBDO Thailand’s head of strategic planning Tina Kelly (right) to the post of strategy director, also in line with the agency's recent restructure.

“Following our rebranding last month, it’s important that we continue to build on this momentum, and attracting the industry’s top talent is an important part of this process,” said Matthew Fanshawe, CEO, Euro RSCG Southeast Asia. “Bear and Tina represent two core pillars of our industry, and I’m confident that their addition to our management team in Bangkok will help us achieve our goal to be the leading integrated creative agency in that market.”
