Smart Class is part of India’s largest education company Educomp Solutions. The pitch is said to have also involved incumbent M&C Saatchi. Dentsu Marcom will be handling the full spectrum of advertising services for Smart Class.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for us to communicate to parents and schools how technology, ethics and vision have been brought together to make for a powerful brand which nurtures and benefits their school going children in their day-to-day learning process,” said Rajesh Aggarwal, president of Dentsu India.
Smart Class operates 4,500 schools across India, with over five million school children. The academic program involes interactive educational tools and courses designed for Kindergarten to K12.
Abhinav Dhar, director of K12 business and operations at Educomp, commented that Dentsu has “a vision to internalise our dream for the brand.”

MUMBAI – Dentsu’s full service arm Dentsu Marcom has been appointed to manage creative duties for Smart Class.
